5000-6000 ringgit - how often? Anyway, you have already wrote them and told them you would accept this, so now the ball is in their court.

I feel like dying. I need help

I feel like dying. I need help.?
I'm feeling so sad... I'm 20 yrs old. Was raped since 2 by my own cousin till i was 15. my dad left us in 2006, life just crashed down to the ground. My mom had to work. I was only 17. My dad said many things that hurt me. ALOT! he even said not to come to his funeral. Im so confuse. my eldest bro was in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia's Capital). he was working there. He supported us while financially. And as the years went by, loneliness filled my heart. I tried looking for my dad, he just doesn't want to be found. He divorced my my mom early 2009. I had no chance to further my studies like all my other peers. I had to quit school and work. My youngest bro is now 15. Suddenly my eldest bro doesnt want to support us anymore. It's mabe cuz of my mom marrying again. I din like it too but how can i tell my mom that she cant be happy?? I feel like my whole life is a mess, a disgrace, a shame and a joke. I feel like dying. I dont have the extra boost to keep on living now. What should i do? I know suicide is NOT the answer. I hate my life for wat has happen. I love singing and dream that i cud be famous one day. But, it looks like it's not happening since i have to support my mom and lil bro. I hav to give up all that to work and bring home the bacon. What shud i do? Where should i go? I'm lost! Can anyone help me?

First off, you NEED to see a therapist, or at least join some sort of community program helping teens deal with their stress, and their terrible childhoods. If you really do want to become famous, i recommend american idol. it's VERY good publicity. awwwe, good luck.
2 :
There is only one person that can help you that is jesus christ. visit your local christian church. if you dont belive in jesus Please call 1-800-273-TALK
3 :
Whatever you do, DON'T commit suicide! It's very bad. Not to mention it'll suck for your family ot deal with the trauma. But, that's life. You gotta do what you gotta do, and just live through it all. Good Luck and once again, don't kill yourself! :) P.S. I hope you find a good job!

At 20 years old you may probably be able emotionally and financially to move out. I left home at 17 (my parents were terrific, but I just wanted my own space). My life was hard on my own, but I learned a lot about myself. I found that I could survive and have a decent life. I also quit school (never even graduated high school), but I learned to be a pretty good fast typist, then got experienced with the computer, and I have hardly ever been out of work. Don't rely on someone else for your happiness. You're 20, you've got the rest of your life to live.
5 :
Okay step one....look up at the bright sky and smile okay. Everyone is going through hard times and it's difficult to keep your head up high. Here is one thing you are right...suicide is not the answer. It may seem that people are against you right now but if you leave this world people close to you will be misearble and will miss you dearly. Your life is not a disgrace or a joke. You're alive to help the world become better, and you tearing your spirit down is not going to help. Smile okay. Follow your singing dream and just look forward not backwards.
6 :
There is plenty of help for people like you--you just have to find it. Start by calling a crisis line and tell them what you told us here. Is there a physical reason why your mother isn't working? You shouldn't have had to quit school to support your mother and your brother. If your youngest brother is 15, he should be able to take on a part time job to take some of the pressure off of you.Try calling Social Services and see what benefits you qualify for. There are various programs that will pay you to return to school and help you find suitable housing. You are too young to have all this responsibility on you. You could benefit from seeing a therapist. It doesn't sound to me like your mom is pulling her part here and it is actually hurting you. Your oldest brother probably got tired of supporting everybody and wanted a life for himself--you might be able to talk to him about what to do.Good luck!:)

Try contacting this number>> 603-20515000 or go to this web >> http://www.petronas.com.my/internet/corp/centralrep2.nsf/frameset_contact?OpenFrameset However, I think that most likely is a scam as you can see in the last paragraph. From Petronas suddenly change to Public Bank.
7 :
A big oil company like Petronas would have liked to meet you and other prospects, for at least one occasion, e.g. at a final interview.... and since that has not happened, you were probably tricked......How much ? [Moreover, Petronas won't have appointed someone experienced in, or whose current job is in Sales, to a position in "Production", since these two jobs are too dissimilar, especially in a "Management" capacity.]
8 :
Many people ( almost all were Indians ) have asked the exact questions here before this and all the answerers here answered negatively to their questions. NO COMPANY will ever hire a Manager with such high salary without meeting that person face to face. This itself should let you know that it's a scam. Petronas is very much aware about this scam to the extent they even put up warning in their official website. Go to this link ( their official website ) and click 'SCAM'. Read the contents there and you'll know that you have been scammed. http://www.petronas.com.my/internet/corp/centralrep2.nsf/frameset_home?OpenFrameset

Among them, who got the most and who got the least jail-term discount? Why

Among them, who got the most and who got the least jail-term discount? Why?
Predators’ crimes and punishment Abused in a graveyard While the country was celebrating Christmas on Dec 25, 2006, tree cutter K. Kamalason, 47, raped a five-year-old child in a Chinese graveyard in Kuantan. He inflicted his young victim with extremely serious internal injuries to her uterus, intestines and private parts. Kamalason is married with two children ages two and six and was sentenced 20 years in jail and 20 strokes of the rotan. Her stepfather, her rapist As a stepfather, Zulkarnain Ramle, 40, of Kampung Sourabaya Hulu, Petra Jaya in Sarawak should have protected and cared for his stepchildren. Instead, Zulkarnain raped his 11-year-old stepdaughter three years ago when both her mother and elder sister were not at home. The child told her mother, who lodged a police report and her daughter taken for a medical examination. Zulkarnain was sentenced to 12 years in jail on Nov 3, 2003. On her way to work On Oct 7, 2000, computer engineer Noor Suzaily Mukhtar, 24, boarded a Metro bus from Kuala Lumpur to her workplace in Klang. It was like any other day during her two-week attachment at a medical centre in Port Klang. After the bus driver, Hanafi Mat Hassan, 38, dropped off the last remaining passenger at the Klang bus stand, he changed routes towards Banting and pulled over at the Bukit Tinggi project site. Noor Suzaily tried to escape but the doors were locked. The windows were heavily tinted so she could not draw attention. Hanafi raped her and used her headscarf to strangle her before tossing her naked body out of the bus. His wife had just given birth three days ago. Noor Suzaily was dressed in a long skirt and tudung. Yet police said the murderer claimed he tak tahan (unable to control his lust). Bomoh dupes teenage dropout She was 14, has dropped out of school, and living with her parents in Berenang, Kajang. When she started suffering from unexplainable pains in her legs in July 2000, her father, a retired soldier, took her to see a trusted family friend who was a bomoh. He told her she would die if she wasn’t cured of her elephantiasis disease. He convinced the girl’s father to set aside a room in their house to perform special prayers and treatments which could only be carried out after midnight to cure her. Over three years, the bomoh undressed the girl, raped and sodomised her while her parents slept. Before the “treatments”, the bomoh had forced the girl to spiritually marry him so they could have sex. She warned the girl not to inform her parents as the treatments must be kept a secret. In July 2003, the girl broke her silence and lodged a police report. The bomoh is learnt to have seven wives and was previously acquitted of a charge of conducting a marriage ceremony contrary to Islamic law at the Lower Syariah court in Malacca. Bomoh dupes high achiever student She was 16 and scored 9As in her PMR. Then she started losing interest in her studies in 2002. Her worried father, a businessman, brought her to a famous bomoh, as he believed his daughter has been put under a spell. The bomoh carried out his services in a hotel room. For several weeks, the businessman sent his daughter to the bomoh and waited in the lobby. By the time, he became suspicious, his daughter had been raped several times. The suspect reportedly has treatment centres in Pahang, Johor and other states. Police started a hunt for the bomoh who has since been on the run. Consensual sex or statutory rape? Thor Guan Aik asked the right question to his teenage girlfriend before having sex with her two years ago in Sungai Nibong, Penang, “How old are you?” She told him she was 16, which was old enough, so they had sex. She was actually 14 and the case went to court as statutory rape. On Oct 18, 2005, a Sessions Court freed Thor of the charge, ruling that the couple had consensual sex. The girl refused to testify in court. The judge also ruled her evidence as contradictory to the doctor and investigating officers’ testimonies. His release prompted women’s groups to call for an amendment of the Evidence Act to allow videotaped evidence to be allowed in cases. Raped after birthday bash In August 2004, lorry attendant Jailani Budin, 21, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to six charges of raping a Form Three girl after helping to celebrate her 15th birthday. Jailani, who had two previous convictions for break-ins, took the girl on his motorcycle to three locations at different times. Although there was no element of violence, DPP Muhamad Iskandar Ahmad, pressed for the maximum sentence because he said rape offences were on the rise. Jailani’s wife was pregnant at the time he committed the offence. The Nurul Huda Gani case Jailani being led away by police after he was sentenced at the Sessions Court in Shah Alam. With her home just 300m from the Tenaga Nasional Berhad sub-station in Kampung Pekajang, Tanjung Kupang in Galang Patah, Johor Baru, little Nurul Huda Gani had probably passed security guard Mohd Abbas Danus Baksan, 46, before, on her way to the nearby grocery shop. On Jan 17, 2004, Mohd Abbas was convicted of dragging Nurul Huda into the station, raping and then murdering her. When she didn’t return home, her worried brother and two sisters came looking for her. She was found in a squatting position inside a toilet at the station. On Aug 28, 2004, Mohd Abbas was sentenced 20 years’ jail and 24 strokes of the rotan for raping the child, and sentenced to death for murdering her. He maintained his innocence that another security guard had been the killer. The serial rapist In January 2006, Beh Soon Hock (pic left), 39, lost his appeal against a sentence of 60 years and 24 strokes of the rotan for five offences of rape, sodomy, robbery and theft. High Court Justice Abdull Hamid Embong, who rejected Beh’s appeal, said he agreed that the sentences imposed on him by a lower court were appropriate. Beh had raped a South Korean woman and sodomised an Irish woman and a 10-year-old Kuwaiti boy. The unemployed bachelor had 53 previous convictions mostly for theft, housebreaking and mischief committed between 1985 and 1996. The pensioner who raped In August this year, Mat Saad Md Isa, 61, was convicted of raping an eight-year-old in a house in Sentul in 2001. The judge ordered to serve his 19-and-a-half years’ sentence for rape and four-and-a-half years’ sentence for an indecent act. He used a condom A roti canai seller raped his daughter and paid her RM5 as a “reward” to keep quiet. Court of Appeal judges unanimously rejected the 49-year-old father’s appeal to reduce his jail term in June 2008, after the defendant’s lawyer said, in mitigation, that he used a condom each time he raped the child. The man was sentenced to 36 years and 20 strokes of the rotan by the Shah Alam Sessions Court on Aug 20, 2004 after he pleaded to four counts of raping his 11-year-old daughter at their house between May 2003 and Aug 9, 2004. It's perfectly fine to buy condoms at a shop! They're there for that and sex is just a part of life, they wouldn't put them in shops if people weren't going to buy them. Everyone has sex at some point in their life and everyone usually has to buy themselves a condom! The most the guy at the shop is gonna do is give you a look, and if they give you a look, give them an aggressive look.
3 :
Nothing wrong with buying them at the shop! Once you get to the cash register just act like you've bought them before (or have you anyway?). At worst you get a weird look, but just remember - you're going to be using these later and the other people there aren't! :)

Filipinos i was wondering why those Southern Philippine citezen choose working in Malaysia or to be more

Filipinos i was wondering why those Southern Philippine citezen choose working in Malaysia or to be more?
specific Sabah.and not Manila itself. noted that Manila is much bigger than Kuala Lumpur. Those southern Filipinos cause a lot of problem in my country, and your government don't give a dam about those people, they do not want to accept them millions and millions of them flooded to my country. to alan sabah is not under philiphine who the hak told you. your own sultan sign a document to release Sabah beause he thought it has no value, And your own goverment would not recognize Sultan Sulu as a sultan given that he was a Muslim. an Arab descendant read history. Sabah was previously own by Sultan Brunei and was given to an Arab warrior as a reward for helping him to eliminate his enemy. then the Arab guy appointed himself as a Sultan i meant hack not hak to well not guddamit GOD dam it To mig your people are coming to my country illegal what talent you mean define it elucidate it the only talent that your people know is that making syahbu or methamphetamine to coy get your people should get out from sabah. You are living in utopia world sabah would never fall in the hands of Filipinos by the way Sabah is not a Muslim state it is a Christian state to explorer what do you mean tolerant my people has been tolerating your people for more than 20 years, because of those people my country are losing milions and millions of Ringgit for your people welfare. If we were those illegal imigrants how would you tolerate us To Mig your government is doing nothing with those people every time my government want to sent your people back your government give a dozen of excuse to accept them back they are reluctant. They are embarrassing the local people, swimming naked naked in the sea, sniffing glue, throwing rubbish everywhere and etc those tourist assume that their are local people, thus damaging my country image

Not minding your ranting, it is because most of the Filipinos from that end are Muslims and they would prefer to work in an Islamic country.

i am doing ALL I can to help your not fortunate countrymen, so are my collleagues in the UN, WHO, USAID, CCF, et al--but it is not enough. I think more Malaysian overseas and the government should shoulder more responsibility than they do now. I think some of them are under the impression that our hard work is sufficient--nothing can be farther from the truth. Give back please, human lives, elderly women and children are at stake. Someday our efforts may actually save a loved one's life--and not just some "faceless" squatter in the slums. Give back. btw it is not hack but heck... guddamit who tought you to spell. your english is atrocious.

Sabah belongs to Philippines, refer to this documentation: http://www.epilipinas.com/SabahClaim.htm Millions of Filipino go to your country because your country need them, because we are talented and creative. My Question for you is, Why did your government let Filipinos go and work in your country? Probably, the answer is, because you need them, right? Do you think your Malaysian Terrorist who come here to Philippines is not giving us problems? Sounds like you are trying to be a perfect guy or whatever. You can post more questions here and I am willing to discuss with you. Next time post your questions completely. If they are doing illegal things, what is your government doing? Do you think it was the Filipino who came to your country that will benefits from those activities. Of course, not, somebody from your government or from your people supporting those Filipinos. In short Malaysians are just using Filipinos as the front runner. It was your people who smuggled those Filipinos to get into Malaysia and do illegal things. Thats your government role and Malaysian people to protect your territory.
6 :
Hi Jedi Sapiens! I am not capable of answering your question but I just want to say that I like you in the Travel Malaysia category... In spite of you're oh-so-full-of-anger question. But there are still things you don't know about Sabah and our country. All I know is that many countries such as yours have fought for Sabah even though it's supposed to be ours from the start. Anyway, life has to go on. Mabuhay! Peace! I still love you.
7 :
you malaysians, get off sabah. it is just a borrowed land from the sultanate of sulu. so sabah belongs to the philippines. dont go asking around this stupid question.
8 :
it looks like you are living proof that the muslim world only wants to fight with people. Try earning the land and maintaining it. Don't come here and cry like a little baby. Its typical that muslims want everything for nothing. Note your heritage and history shows you acquire by taking from others, not through purchase, hard work, economics or invention. Muslim history has no great accomplishments and shows you people to be nothing more than thieves and war mongers. Its nothing to be proud of, and here you are doing it again. We are all losing respect for you. Shut up and be happy that someone tolerates you. I'm not one of them
9 :
Right, Sabah is part of Malaysia and that has already been proven with hundreds, if not thousands, of Filipinos have been deported to the Philippines because they were there illegally. But it wasn't the Philippines' fault there was a misunderstanding or false claim regarding Sabah because the former based their claim of ownership on a piece of paper and honestly thought it was for real. Anyway, people from Mindanao finds it accessible or plausible to journey into Sabah rather than to Manila. First, most who go to Sabah are Muslims and Sabah, as part of Malaysia, is a Muslim territory. They have something in common with the inhabitants of the place. Second, isn't it just right that these people would like to mingle with their kith and kin because most of those living in that area are Filipinos or have Filipino descendants? And third, how could the Philippine government help those people when it doesn't even know that they have exited the country via the illegal way (through the backdoor)? Anyway, when these things came out in the open when a Muslim member of a kidnap-for-ransom (KFR) group made an escape to Sabah after kidnapping some foreign tourists in a resort in Malaysia, the Philippine government immediately directed its Coast Guard to patrol the sea between Sulu and Sabah to prevent another exodus or infiltration by members of KFR group. Oh well, you can't accuse the Philippine government of not doing anything. At least it has done something. Now, let Malaysia do its part, too.
10 :
Let me answer your question with another question... * where did this hatred come from? * what did the Filipino people do to you? * Did we do harm? * kistanis? * how in the world could malaysia make it to this century without the filipino workers may they be legal or illegal? * do you do you think malaysians nowadays do menial jobs like the following: farm under the heat of the sun? build skyscrapers? raise farm animal? all doing these stuff by themselves? * how on earth do you think that the filipinos are far different from the malaysians? * were you able to read history about malaysia and how some of your so call people tried to escape your tyrant and came to the land of thousands of islands? * what makes you think that the blood running in the veins of Filipinos are different from your blood? Borders are drawn in order for government to have control. but should we let borders divide humanity? As the human race tries to improve the quality of life, we cannot deny the fact that without the help of each other. Nations to nation. People to people. Just get this fact and try to analyze: Everybody know that one of the best tasting chocolate comes from Switzerland. But, do they plant cocoa trees? They got most of their chocolate from the poor continent of Africa.
11 :
Will try to answer this question straight to the point. Sabah was and is indeed a territory once belongs to the Sulu sultanate. But that was history or "herstory" now. Please do note that most or majority of the southern Pinays and Pinoys are muslim. The Manila government thinks or thought that they are nuisance ( not my intention here to insult muslims ). However they the southern Filipinos are "readily" accepted by the ruling Malaysian government on condition that they must be from muslim religion. This is due to political fact that the local Sabahans and Sarawakians are not muslims. In order for the present Malaysian government to rule and to gain political mileage, PR or citizenship are granted to muslims illegal immigrants. All the locals of Sabahans and sarawakians knew about this.Various police reports have been filed and was raised in Parliment. But the malaysian police and government denies it ( about granting of PR to illegal muslim immigrants) Since as a muslim , they can be easily categorise as of Bumiputra or "prince of soil" status and able to enjoy special privileges that non muslim Malaysian cannot have. *note the term Bumiputra is also known as Babiputra and Umnoputra. ( again its not my intention to use those 2 degrading words, but it is the lingo used) Actually your question is more appropriate to be submited to BN or Umno.Thats the government...or calls your Musa Aman (Chief minister of sabah)for an answer. Thank you

Bath & Body Works Locations?
I've been curious about this for some time now, and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a Bath & Body Works store located in either Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) or Jeddah/Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). I'd like to purchase a gift for a friend while I'm there, so any information you can give me would be helpful. =) Thank you in advance! Or perhaps a similar perfume brand that carries a juniper fragrance...?

Here is a link that will allow you to calculate all that: https://www.nppa.org/professional_development/business_practices/cdb/cdbcalc.cfm Don't forget to include the replacement of camera bodies every three to five years as well as the notebook and desktop computers The cost of the actual equipment will have much more to do with the services you plan to provide. Two bodies and four lenses can cost as little as $25,000 for a simple studio set up to over $40,000 for just the lenses use by a sports photographer We recently built-out a photo studio in a 1600 square foot industrial building at a cost of just under $50,000. This included building a makeup and changing room, office, one two wall cyclorama and one single wall cyclorama as well as nine ceiling mount photo backgrounds. We have a total of four complete studio flash set ups (a total of 18 flash heads, stands and light modifiers) We also have two computers in the office. One is used for all the workflow and the other holds all our business related software as well as client data base. In our case we brought clients to the studio from our individual businesses, so we did not have to build a client list from scratch. My guess is you will have just under $75,000 invested before you open your doors if you do not have all the equipment and instant clientele and have to produce some cashflow from your marketing program

Tokyo should come as top on the list, go down to Shibuya & Harajuku & you'll see all kinds of fashion. Muslim countries, due to their religious beliefs, should be way down the line. Fashion in Singapore is still pretty boring, but I've seen pretty outrageous outfit once in a while. Then again I've been away from Singapore for few years now, not sure how they dress these days.

At what time does the sun rise and set where you live

At what time does the sun rise and set where you live?
I found out a while ago after watching Smallville and The OC that the sun rises real early (5-6 AM?) in the States. In Malaysia, the sun starts to rise at 7 AM, and it only gets real sunshin-y at 8+ AM. Then it sets at around 7 PM, and it only gets real dark at around 8 PM. I'm talking about Kuala Lumpur, BTW, dunno about East Malaysia. So... When does rise and set where you live? Just an observation: If what I found out is correct, then a lot of Americans are still sleeping after the sun is up (5-6 AM), while a lot of Malaysians are already up at 5-6 AM, when it is still dark (to prepare to pray, for Muslims, and to go to work and school, generally), and by the time schoolchildren they get to school, the sun is only beginning to rise (7 AM). Oh, so the sun rises and sets at different times in the US... 0_o

Sunrise and sunsets do not vary as you go east and west, rather north and south. The further north and south you go from the equator, the greater the extremes of daylight and night. I've been in Alaska in the summer and sunset came at 11pm and came back up again at 2am. That was wild. In January in Anchorage, sunrise is not until 10am and sunset starts around 4pm. If you get above the Arctic Circle, you'll experience perpetual day in the summer (on and around June 21) and perpetual night (on and around December 21). The opposite goes for below the Antarctic Circle, i.e. winter solstice is in June and summer solstice is in December.

Is it safe for a girl to travel alone in Malaysia

Is it safe for a girl to travel alone in Malaysia?
Is it safe for my girlfriend to travel alone, taking a bus from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur? Because I will be meeting her there...anyone heard of anything bad? She is working in Singapore, and I happen to drop to Malaysia for some meeting, and we want to save time by just waiting for her there. Any good but inexpensive hotel to suggest too? Thanks!

Yes, nothing to worry about at all...
2 :
of course it is safe...Malaysia is one of the safest country... besides that, there are plenty of inexpensive hotels there
3 :
It is rather safe to travel alone in Malaysia. Do beware of pickpockets in crowded areas though. Also refrain from wandering on the streets at night. They have been reports of missing children in the country lately, but unlikely for tourists to be targetted. Please do make sure that the company that operates buses from Singapore to KL is of a high reputation one and avoid travelling at night. Good luck and have a pleasant stay!
4 :
Malaysia is a safe country. If you want to be on the safe side, don't let your girlfriend save pennies on taking the cheapest option. Let her travel in VIP aircon busses that go non-stop from Singapore to KL.
5 :
This means that she is taking the Singapore>>>Kuala Lumpur express coach/bus. As long as you picks her up from the bus terminal at the puduraya, this will be safe. Avoid traveling at night or late night arrival. As the down town bus station is infested with drug addicts , beggars and rude RELA sickos. As for good not too expensive hotels , do try Fortuna (behind BBintang McD) or the Swissgarden in chinatown ( quite near to Puduraya bus station)
6 :
Don't worry. She'll be alright. Just ask her to be extra careful with her belongings when she arrives at the crowded bus station. This is an advise not a warning. The cheapest hotel you can get in town is the no-frill hotel TuneHotel ( http://www.tunehotel.com ). Very cheap, as low as RM9.99 per night. Of course at this rate, a very basic room is expected.
7 :
I travelled alone in the Far East ... Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Manila. Sadly, the only bad experience i had was in Kuala Lumpur. I was robbed in kuala lumpur. Is it safe in Malaysia? Based on my personal experience, I would say NO, its not safe.

You should consider Singapore. Its a multicultural society and well-connected to the rest of the world. The country is advanced with the comforts of modern living (but this can be said of both Malaysia and HK too). But most importantly, if you are concerned about your children's education, in my opinion, Singapore's education provide better fundamentals than what can be generally obtained in KL and HK. Of course, to qualify that sentence, you can still get good educaiton in KL and HK for a price.

Basically you are allow to wear anything beside being naked. They won't do anything to tourists and only muslim will follow the islamic rules. Malaysia has 35% non-muslims, so it is unlike those conservative islamic countries in middle east.
4 :
Friends have told me that the basic thing is to have your arms covered, long sleeve blouses, jackets instead of vests and the like The Malaysians/Malays seemed to be very tolerant but dressing modestly was seen as showing respect for the dominant culture
5 :
you should wear appropriate corporate attire. BTW, which company are you working with, you might meet me....
6 :
Oh you'll be surprised at how sexy some marketing/sales ppl wear here. But for a professional image as a marketing person, usually anything that covers you well esp. your chest, make sure not too revealing necklines, covers your boobs, knee lenght skirts, pants - not hot pants, not too thight/flashy & how you behave & personality. If you're alone in lonely or majority men territory, it's always safe to wear extra long jacket/or Scarf. Sometimes they way men looks at a lone female despite being well dressed are pretty intimidating/scary, no matter in which country. Btw. good luck in your new job!
7 :
a moderate attire should be cover yourself below the knee.. maybe wear a long skirt / dress.. shirt should cover your breast or wear a jacket..
8 :
Expensive and smart looking jacket. Tho' you may be cooked due by the crouching sun before you reach your destination.
9 :
you should wear a very corporate/business-like attire. like blouse (dark tone of colors or earth colors) with blazer, showing less less skin. with long pants or long skirt. the shortest a skirt could go is knee-length. then put your hair all in a ponytail or a bun (if you're not covering your hair), best as not to leave strands of hair on your face. last, a bit jewellery. not anything flashy, but something sophisticated.

I called the HR Director in PIA in the HD office, at first he was polite but when he found out it was a personal request he was very rude, he said he couldnt help me and hung up on me! If there is anyone out there who might be able to assist, pls drop me a line. Thank you.

Ladies' clothing in Malaysia

Ladies' clothing in Malaysia?
My 19yo daughter is going to work for a business in Kuala Lumpur. What is the etiquette for the fashion there? Do girls have to wear pantyhose with dresses? I assume below the knee dresses/skirts are appropriate and no skimpy clothing. Any tips on customs would be appreciated. (have bought a Lonely Planet book for info). I'm in Australia and my daughter will be working in a legal office. I'm just concerned about her being prepared to do the right thing culturally and to not offend. Thanks for the advice so far.

I am a Malaysian living in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. there are 4 of us in the family. my hubby & I with 2 young kids. my husband is a businessman in the F&B line while i am an accountant. the purpose of migrating to AU is because of the education for my kids and more work life balance for my husband & I. We are uncertain where to settle down. to settle with Melbourne or Sydney. We have heard that Melbourne is one of the most liveable city in the world. But Sydney offers better job opportunities? Melbourne and Sydney are both great cities with excellent schools and universities. Whichever you choose, your children's education will be fine. I have lived in both and would do so again with no problems but if I had to make a choice, Sydney would be my preference. I would investigate the job opportunities and choose the city that offers the best in that line, the rest will fall into place. You can't go wrong in either city.

Canberra or Sydney, look Sydney is good for school, and other stuff, like jobs too and fun too ! But Canberra is great to live ! By the way im from Sydney !

Melbourne has been called the one of the most livable cities in the world. However, I think Sydney has more career opportunities. Beware of Sydney humidity!!

1- Qatar Airways operates the Doha-Kuala Lumpur route. Check http://www.flyqatar.com 2: Qatar Airways fares are competitive but you can check with Malaysia Airline and Thai Airways for their prices too. 3: What you wear in Malaysia for Friday prayers will suffice in Qatar. 4: Price of a meal at a streetside restaurant will be higher than in KL...about RM 8 per person, being the lowest in Qatar. 5: Car rentals are not available and heavily booked unless you arrange well in advance. 2 Bedroom apartment is about RM7500 per month, minimum.

what is the requirement for indonesian maid visa in malaysia

what is the requirement for indonesian maid visa in malaysia?
We just move in Kuala Lumpur, my husband from Germany have a working visa and im Indonesian, were thinking to bring our indonesian maid with us now. Please help us if anyone know how and know someone that can help us..thank you much--

1 :
Your situation is quite different rom the normal maid-hiring ones in Malaysia. It is best to consult the German Embassy, the Indonesian Embassy, the Malaysian Immigration Department and Malaysian Labour Department.....You may not be able to bring in your present maid - she would have to return to her country...and since you are not Malaysians, very different conditions apply..... It is also posible that as foreigners, you are not allowed to employ a maid, but that your local employer has to "sponsor" one for you. Locally, only the lady of the house can legally employ a maid.
2 :
The easiest way is to go to a registered Maid Employment Agency. Most of them advertise their agencies in local newspapers, like The Star. Just go and check out. These agencies will processs everything from the beginning to the end. You only need to provide them with some personal documents and then wait for them to call you to pick up your maid. The fee these agencies charge is in the range of RM7000 to RM8000. If you prefer to apply yourself, it isn't difficult at all if you have fulfilled the requirements set by the immigration department. Here are some of the requirements : - your household income must be enough to cover the maid's salary ( i am sure you fulfill this requirement ) - having small children, if you do not have children then you have to justify the reason for you wanting the maid - the maid must be medically fit and not more than 45 years old Steps to apply on your own. - go to immigration maid's department to get the application form - ask your Indonesian maid to send you photocopy of her passport ( must be valid for more than 13 months ) and ORIGINAL medical report from a registered medical practitioner in Indonesia ( must be registered with the Malaysian Ministry Of Health - the list can be obtained when you collect the application form ) - fill up the form and attached the form with your personal identification documentts / income documents / the copy of the maid's passport, her photographs ( 3 copies ) and the ORIGINAL copy of her medical checkup report. - Submit all the above documents to the immigration. If all your documents are in order, you get your approval between 2 weeks to 1 month. Since you are in Kuala Lumpur, i suggest you send your application to the immigration headquarter in Putrajaya. * Actually presently the Indonesian government has frozen the sending of Indonesian maids to Malaysia due to a few ( isolated ) cases of maid abuse. What you can do is to ask your maid to get her documents ready, fly into Malaysia ( it's easy, Indonesian do not need visa to enter Malaysia ). Once she is in Malaysia, she'll be given one month social visit pass. On day one or two after her arrival, immediately submit your application to the immigration. If the immigration approves your application within that one month period, then your maid can continue working with you but if the application takes more than one month, then you have to apply for an extension of the maid's social visit pass.
3 :
Please contact direct the right department http://www.imi.gov.my/
4 :
The Maid abuse in Malaysia is widespread and is representative of a wider problem in Malaysian attitudes towards Indonesians in general, everyone I know in Indonesia who have been to Malaysia has a story about it. Many Malaysians are very nasty to Indonesians. They should get over it because they need to be good neighbours now more than ever. If you live in Malaysia you will experience the same. Bring your maid as a family member and leave her money in an Indonesian bank account.

Hmm. I'm not sure. The address that you given isn't it a travel agency? Maybe you can check it out at the Immigration Department of Malaysia link at : http://www.imi.gov.my/ENG/im_page1.asp Headquarters of the Department of Immigration, Malaysia (Ministry of Home Affairs) Level 1-7 (Podium) Block 2G4, Precint 2, Federal Government Administration Centre, 62550 Putrajaya, FEDERAL TERRITORY Telephone: 03-88801000 Fax: 03-88801200
3 :
The answer is no. The right place to go is the Immigration Depaartment In Putrajaya. The full address and contact no is like what Angel had given. Additional info. you need to have a sponsor ( an employer ) to be able to apply for a permit. If you are applying for a business visa, you too need to have a Malaysian sponsor before your application is accepted. Normally the sponsors are the one who will apply for the working permits for their employees prior to their arrival in Malaysia. The company given by you is a travel agent and has got nothing to do with work permit. Unfortunately many of these people ( travel agents or other companies ) claim that they could apply and assist someone to obtain a work permit. They want to act as your "agent" for your work permit application. Some could really helped you through (back door channel) and you'll be charge exorbitantly.

is this a perfect essay? please edit it, if there are any mistakes!?
A Person Who Has Great Influence In My Life A strong and brave man. He has a pair of small and black dark eyes. He has a pumpkin shaped face. Not a very tall but average height he has. His lips are thick. And you will see two rows of yellowish teeth with streaks of white. He is my dearest father. His actual age is fifty plus, but you can't realize it if you just look through his face. Keep smiling and be happy are the secret ways he looks more younger than his age. My father was born in a small fishing village near Sabak Bernam. He worked as a fisherman for more than five years since he was thirteen years old. According to my grandma who had passed away, my father worked at a young age because they were too poor to send my father for education. Later he married my mother. They shifted to Kuala Lumpur. My father worked in a fishball factory for the first few years in Kuala Lumpur. He told me he moved to Selayang in 1986. There was the place he began hiscareer as a boss of a fishball factory. After working hard and putting a lot of effort in the factory for about 19 years, it is today, this man has succeeded. Although he was born in a kampung, although he did not have high education, but his hard work, his confidence has brought him to success. Success has not gone to his head he gives work to those young men or old ladies in his hometown. My father continues to contribute to his hometown. He repaired the only Chinese temple in his hometown. His generousity has made me proud of him. Papa is not afraid to become a looser. He always updates himself through reading the newspaper. Me and my siblings will teach him Malay and English words when he needs our help. He changed my perspective towards life. "Not to be afraid and face the problem whenever we meet them", he taught me. His hard workingness, generous, and always willing to learn attitude have influenced me so much. He is my teacher, my hero and of course, a father that made me proud of him.

His lips are thick, showing just two rows of yellowish teeth with streaks of white. He is my dearest father. His appearance contradicts his age, which is more than fifty years old. By smiling and staying happy, he looks younger. I'm not going to help you correct the whole essay but here are some tips: -be concise -don't use "you" -read over it once OUTLOUD to check any spelling (i think you meant loser instead of looser) or grammar mistakes -make sure there are no sentence fragments (like the 1st sentence) or run-ons -have sentence variation -don't use "he" so often; change it up (this hero, etc) -remember to have parallel structure (2nd to last sentence: His efforts, generosity, and devotion to learning influenced...)

As long as the phone is unlocked (i.e., not dependent on a contract or operator in Thailand/Malaysia) it should work in South Africa with a local sim card.

1. Book ur flight with AirAsia, flies direct into Langkawi airport, you can get it for RM100 rt 2. There are lots of hotels along Cenang beach, many many....from downright dirt cheap (my friends got a motel room for RM25/night) to nicer ones. Lots of options, u can just go there and drive around looking. 3. Lots of good seafood. Price and taste wise, it's pretty similar to KL food. If u stay along the strip with lots of hotels and restaurants u can walk around looking for food, otherwise u'd need a car if u dont wanna be stuck eating hotel food only. 4 & 5 no experience so can't help you on that... Best advice is to rent a car, u can do so at the airport - they have car rental booths. If you want better deals, you can approach taxi drivers (plenty outside the airport) to give you contacts of companies that rent cars. It's easy to drive in Langkawi as there's basically just one big road and you drive along it.

The nearest I can think of is PNB Darby Park , Jalan Binjai, just a stone throw away I think about 200m behind from Nikko Hotel and Ampang Park Putra Lrt Station. It's is so near to KLCC and city centre that you may go daily to Suria KLCC . Darby Park is service apartment / suite, classy, tight security and expensive rent since you want to stay in city centre. Go to the reception to ask for rental info or if you want to purchase a unit. If not check The Star for nearby properties.

Why so many Chinese women ends up in vice den overseas

Why so many Chinese women ends up in vice den overseas?
There was a recent report in Malaysia that a seafood restaurant was exposed for serving "fresh flesh" on their menu. The diners would be "entertained" by women from China, employed as GROs and most of them are scantily dressed. These women have no work permits and overstayed in Kuala Lumpur. Is it because of the fast bucks that these Chinese women are willing to do anything? This is certainly not the first time the Malaysian police caught Chinese women in vice dens!! If they do not work in brothels, they ended up being someone's mistress.

Actually with the suddenly economic growth of China, the whole China is open up to the world and hence lots of opportunity. And these women saw a quick way to escape provety or just to make quick bucks. hence once China open up their citzens for Visa, they are everywhere. u will be surprise on how much they made in a year, easily US$100K , for here in my country. Rgds
2 :
Believe it or not money is really the strong reason behind it.to them is is easy fast money.I've heard of some young chinese who are here for further studies but choose to sell themselves at night for the easy money.
3 :
This problem is all over the world, and not only restricted to Chinese women only. Women from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, even Korea, Japan Eastern Europe and etc are using their body to earn quick buck in many countries. Not every countries in the world have enough jobs for all women.
4 :
I was acquainted with a few in California through friends. These girls in their mid 20's - 30's entertained men in karaoke bars. (and sometimes after work) One of them does it because she enjoys the luxury of meeting rich men- wine & dine, expensive gifts, etc. One is a college student w/ student visa who sends money back to her family in Taiwan. Another spends her hard earned cash at the casinos.
5 :
The answer is "fast cash". On average they can make 50-100 times more in the same amount of time than they would have doing ordinary office or factory work. There have been many well know cases where young females knowingly risk themselves in these type of work so as to save enough money to open a small business within 1-2 years. This way, they would not have to compete with the mass for ordinary employment. Others do so for the fast and easy life and/or long term meal tickets.
6 :
It's one of the oldest occupations on this planet!!!!! You can find women of different races are doing this job in different places earning quick money for different reasons, in Singapore, it is legal but they don't need to pay tax, they have a medical card, kind of like a licence, they need to have medical check up every 6 months! I had dinner with some friends in a 5 stars hotel's highest floor a few weeks ago, there were a few stunning young blonds sitting at my back, I was enjoying the food and wasn't aware of them. But my friend told me that there were only 1 guy in that table and he saw him gave a condom to a girl after a phone call, she left the table immediately. I soon looked backward, my friend stopped me (nervously)! LOL!!!! Well, I got up and pretended to go to the washroom and came back! Wow! all of them were around 20 - 24? I guess they're from Russia or Eastern Europe, stunning beauties! Didn't you take economic classes in high school??? SUPPLY & DEMAND If those were not Chinese women but Russian or Eastern European, would you feel more comfortable? White people are in higher ranking? We also have the same problem here in Hong Kong, Chinese women overstayed here and worked in Mongkok or Shamsuipo, HK police arrest lot of them, almost daily but there are just too many of them! What a pitty is that there are many lonely men need these women too! Demand and supply! Not just women, we also have some East Asian men overstayed here working for money. I guess this is very common in a lot of developed cities!

Does anyone pick Malaysia as their travel destination? and Why

Does anyone pick Malaysia as their travel destination? and Why?
Well I'm working here in Kuala Lumpur, far away from my home in Aussie.I had bad feelings about Islamic country before I came here but this nation really changed my views. Malaysia is a very beautiful country and lots of attractions. .I was just wondering how many of you have thought of travel to Malaysia and Why? Sorry but I'm not going to talk racist here. What I mean bad feelings because of their food (too spicy for me when I'm in Aussie) not religion, I'm just merely wanna know the answer but not terrorist or Islam issue. If you misunderstand my question it's better you hand off your keyboard. I repeat, I'm just merely wanna know how many of you like or planning to travel to Malaysia. That's all.

On behalf of these people I'm very sorry Edit: To answer your question seriously If were a non-Malaysian, I would see Malaysia as a boring country. Thailand is pretty and full of night life. Indonesia has Bali and chokingly smelly Jakarta, Vietnam has Vietnam War, Cambodia and Laos have monks and temples, Singapore 'thinks' they are great. Malaysia is a country without hype, very tone down. ehh... what's the thumb downs for?

i have been there one time, and i am not going to go back. in the city is nice but rural is not. i don't like their look toward foreigner. then i learn that (at that time which was long ago) the muslim government had/has kind of difference scholarship system for the non-muslim minority kids. (they got a lot less benefit than the muslim kids.) i don't know if it is still the fact today.
7 :
its not really an islam country. there are many other religion followers as well. many temples and churches. churches built before the independence are beautiful. well, dont mention islam (and the sultans)around, else u will get jailed. seriously.
8 :
Jim, there are 4 billion people in this planet but not one country TRAPS ppl into converting to Islam except malaysia. So whatever you do, dont date muslim girls. Aint worth the trouble. Mazlan is a good example of a bad example.

haha that is malaysia boleh, in thailand and spore they legalized it so that it can be controlled and tax can be collected, in msia we are worst as it is illegal and the girls don't have to go for twice monthly HIV check up. and the money earned ended in the hand of gangsters and corrupted police and politician agree, almost every spa, night club, massage parlour and karaoke do have prostitute
2 :
The pimps offer their services to the officers from all the enforcement agencies right from the top guys to the junior guys. Do you think with these kind of "rewards" that they are receiving, the enforcement officers are going to take any action against the pimps. For publicity, occassionally raids will be conducted where customers and the prostitutes will be detained but not the owner of the prostitution rings.
3 :
Datukgong Bean Laden is correct. I must add that many of the hair styling joints also offer extra services. I get serviced everytime I go for a hair cut. Usually in the backroom or in the upstairs apartment. I only go to maybe four or five hairstylists and they know me as a regular and I often get extras thown in. Frequent flyer miles really work wonders.

where is the branches of E. Funkhouser: New York in Malaysia? especially Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya area?
Yesterday while walking in the mall, a lady by the name Lew approached me and asked if I'm interested in working as a beautician and make-up artist, then she gave me the namecard the company name E. Funkhouser. I am quite interested, so I served the net for the branches in Malaysia, but found none, am I being cheated? or they left out Malaysia in the net? The lady said her company was at the Petaling Jaya area.

Taxi coupons, how do they work? How to buy and use them

Taxi coupons, how do they work? How to buy and use them?
For example in Kuala Lumpur

Not practise in KL. You just need to hop into a taxi and pay cash at the end of the ride.
2 :
There are counters outside the shopping malls. However be warned that they are twice more expensive then hopping into a taxi and paying in cash. I strongly advise to use the coupons only during peak hours.
3 :
Coupons are available at airports and main Railway station. You don't need a coupon anywhere else. At airport, I suggest you get coupons to avoid being cheated and to get to your destination fast and safe.
4 :
at kuala lumpur or the whole state of malaysia, taxi dont use coupons.
5 :
they have a counter at the malls (some do), just go to the counter and tell him where do u want to go, then ask him the price (beware it will be more expensive then the normal taxi fare), once u agree to the fare, the man will issue u a receipt/coupon, then u take it to the taxi driver any one parked outside and tell them where u want to go and show them the coupon, then you're on your way....but its adviseable if you use this taxi service only in emergency, like heavy rain or you have so many shopping bags to carry and you cant wait for the taxi...good luck.

Phuket - Bangkok - Chiang Mai - Kuala Lumpur

Phuket - Bangkok - Chiang Mai - Kuala Lumpur?
I'll be flying to Thailand in April. Into the whole shopping, partying, beaching and cultural scene, where should I head? And to save on flights, is a train recommended? How does it work for the abovementioned route? Thanks in advance. Erm. I forgot to mention that I'm Malaysian and am extremely sick of KL, hence the great month long Thai escape.

Fly into BBK.Bangkok is noisy and dirty but fun. You must be carefu lof self indulgences which can end your trip if your too drunk or stupid. Ive seen it so many times. It's the big show for parties but be careful. The sex trade is lonely and sad but popular. It gets old quickly. You will enjoy the warmth of Chiangmai, the people, shopping food, flowers, treking, everything. BBK has nothing you won't find in Chiangmai. Train north to Chaingmai, a beautiful little city. Enjoy the train. You leave BBK at 6pm and arrive fully rested and having seen the Thai countryside gently. It won't run headfirst into another train or plunge off a cliff like a bus will. Depending on time you can fly south to Phuket. Stay a few days in a nice cheap beachfront bungaow. Then take a mini bus, which you can easily book in Phuket to East side of Thailand. 4 hour drive. Get on a boat to outer islands like ko Samui or further to outer islands. Depending again on time frame take a train south to Maylasia stopping at beautiful town of Penang. So nice. KL is interesting but Maylasia is kinda uptight compared to Thailand. It's nite and day. Enjot the Thai beaches. They are so nice, cheap with great food and people.Continue south exiting Singapore to ? Either you have money and no time or time and no money. Get Lonely Planets guide book to southeast Asia. It will spark great info and ideas. This trip is wonderful. Enjoy!!One more thing. Pack lite. Don't bring more than you can run for a train with. Otherwise you are a slave to your junk. Everything you need is available there. Everything. GET THE BOOK.Aloha
2 :
Ok, Phuket is where you do your beach, partying stuff. Then Bangkok for your shopping and temple culture visit. Next will be Chiangmai for more cultural stuff and enjoy the cool climate there. I believe MAS will take you to Bkk and Chiangmai, and you may want to check if you can arrive Bkk and depart to KL from Chiangmai. Saves you the trip to connect at Bangkok. Any query, you can email me at thaitourinfo@yahoo.com.
3 :
depending on your time frames, low costs airlines stay clear of nok air, www.airasia.com www.silkeair.com and www.tigerairways.com good. Train are good but so is buses, cos you get a good sleep on the buses and they are better roads from bkk to sukhothai / piticnock not sure of further north than that. But it may be cool to bus / train it and fly south.
4 :
If you have a direct flight to Chiang Mai, I would recommend you fly there first, since it's the northernmost province among the 4 places you mentioned. Kuala Lumpur is the southernmost so Chiang Mai to KL is rather illogical. Or Bangkok to start as the base. Domestic airlines are cheap. Check out Nok Air (www.nokair.com) or Orient Thai (www.fly12go.com). But between Bangkok and Chiangmai, the rail works. But Phuket is an island so the train doesn't go there, so I would recommend flying in instead. Start Bangkok, then Chiangmai, then Phuket and then to Kuala Lumpur. Bangkok is metropolitan city, cheap shopping, bustling night life. Chiangmai is mountains, jungles, peaceful greenery. Phuket is island paradise, blue seas blue skies, beach parties etc. KL would be more like Bangkok, but Thai city life is different from Malay city life, so it's worth to check it out. Flying to big cities like Bangkok and KL should be cheaper than flying into smaller provinces, so it's a good idea to start and finish off in big cities.
5 :
To really save on flights, travel by train. In Bangkok, visit three of most unusual Buddhist temples: Wat Traimit, Wat Po and Wat Benchamabophit. Wat Traimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha) boasts the world's largest solid-gold Buddha, believed to be cast over nine centuries ago. Tour to the colorful floating market at Damnoen Saduak and then tour to the Grand Palace, Thailand's finest example of an ancient Siamese court. Stroll the sprawling courtyards and palaces within the complex, including the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple Have a buffet-style dinner and female impersonation show at the Calypso Cabaret in the Asia Hotel. Depart Bangkok to Ayutthaya, the historic capital of Siam. Here you will view the giant bronze statues at Wat Mongkol Borpitr, and proceed to view Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, known as the "Great Temple of Auspicious Victory," built by King U-Thong in the late 14th century. Stop briefly at Wat Chai Watthanaram, before continuing to Lopburi via the massive stone sanctuary of Prang Sam Yod. Originally a Hindu temple in the early 14th century, the pagoda is famous for its three sandstone spires (prangs) signifying the sacred trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva (B): Visit Wat Maha Dhat Phitsanulok with its grand Buddha statue, Phra Buddha Jinaraj. Depart for the city of Sukhothai, one of Thailand's earliest and most significant historical settlements, for a visit to Wat Maha Dhat Sukhothai. Afterwards, continue to the historic city of Sri Satchanalai where you will find Wat Phra Si Ratana Maha Dhat. Standing on the site of the ancient Khmer fort "Chalieng," Wat Phra features a massive Principal Buddha Image, ornately constructed in the Sukhothai style. Continue to Lampang this afternoon. Go to Ko Kah to view the Emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang. Depart for Phayao, a historic rural town in Northern Thailand, with a short stop at Kwan Phayao, Thailand's largest natural lake. Continue to the ancient fortified city of Chiang Saen, the former capital of the first Thai Lanna Kingdom, situated on the banks of the Mekong River. By boat, visit the famed Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos convene. Tour by boat to visit some local hilltribe villages and hamlets. Board a long-tailed boat and sail the Kok River to the water shed headquarters at Pa Kaew, where you will visit the Akha tribe. This afternoon, travel to the town of Mae Sai, the northern-most point of Thailand on the border of Myanmar, and visit a jade cutting factory and local market. Travel northwest along the Mae Sa Valley, with its scenic botanical gardens and ten-tiered waterfalls, to visit the Mae Sa Elephant Training Camp. See the elephants bathing in the running streams or demonstrating their daily feats of skill and strength in a show with music and dance, a soccer match, or an abstract painting demonstration. After visit the Orchid Nursery and Butterfly Farm, home to more than 50 species of mountain orchid, many of which bloom year-round. Balance of the day at leisure. Visit to Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep, erected in 1384 A.D. Located 3500 feet above sea level, Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep is Northern Thailand's most sacred temple, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha and a copper-plated chedi topped by a tiered-gold parasol in its interior cloister. Equally impressive is the mythological Naga (Dragon-headed serpent) staircase, consisting of more than 300 steps leading up to the temple grounds. Transfer to Phuket. Tour with a stop at 3 Bay Viewpoint, the most famous observation point on the island. From this unique vantage point, view the bays of Kata Noi, Kata and Karon, as well as Koh Poo Island. Next, visit an elephant camp for a short ride on the back of a Thai elephant. Following this unique experience, continue to visit a local rubber plantation for a processing demonstration. Afterwards, continue to Wat Chalong, the largest and most beautifully ornamented Buddhist temple in Phuket. The temple is dedicated to 2 monks, Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang, who used their knowledge of herbal medicine to aid the injured Chinese tin miner's of the 1876 rebellion. From here, visit Put Jaw Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Phuket. The temple was built more than two centuries ago and is dedicated to Kuan Yin, the Chinese Goddess of Mercy. The tour concludes with a visit to a nearby Chinese mansion, Chin Pracha House, made famous by several Hollywood films. Then Proceed back to Bangkok then to Kuala Lumpur.

Im Pakistani student and coming to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to study my bachelors.?
Can you please answer to my following queries. 1. How many hours an International student can work. And on average how much he/she can earn. And is it possible to finance your day to day expenses( living monthly expenses ) from your part time job. 2. What if a person is exceeding the limited hours to which he is restricted to work. 3. What will be the cost to rent a furnished room near KLMU university.( just a room, not a flat). And what if I and some friends rent a flat. Which will be more cost effective. 4. And is it possible to live in KL with 700rm along with accomodation, food, clothing and etc.. Very keen to know the answers. Thank You so much Malaysia

1 I Don't think you can work on your student visa. 2 If you can not work at all you will never exceed the working hours 3 To rent a flat with friends will be more cost effective because there is not limit of how many persons in one flat, 4 No it is not enough. Good luck
2 :
Hey bro! International students can't work on a student visa. A room on a sharing basis can be as low as Rm150-200. Food, depends on how are your eating habits. Normally will be around Rm12-15 / day. Recommend you share your room. Its better to get in touch with your uni mates and get all the contacts for accommodation. The budget is possible but will be very tight. No movies, no cafe, no outings, no dates, just stay in the room. You can find part time jobs, but must be smart not to be caught by the authorities. Not worth the hassle with them. Hope you enjoy your stay and all the best !!

Visa Agent in Kuala Lumpur and/or Singapore

Visa Agent in Kuala Lumpur and/or Singapore.?
Hey, I will be traveling to Malaysia and Singapore soon and would like to find a “Visa Agent” in KL or S’Pore. The type of agent that I turn over my passport, 2 photos, a signed document and some money, and they do all of the ground work to obtaining the visa and deliver the passport back to me when done. I will be needing a Thailand Tourist Visa. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks! Dear Khun Bob.... I "live" in Thailand. My Tourist Visa (60 days + 30 days) is about to expire. I will be going to Malaysia and Singapore, will need to get a new Tourist Visa while there and then come back to Thailand. Clear enough?

Don't understand why you would ask for a visa agent in Malaysia and Singapore in a Thailand YA. Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. As for a Tourist Visa for Thailand you can get it at the Thai Embassy in your country. For the next 3 months a tourist visa is free of charge to help promote tourism. Now ask your other questions in the Malaysian and Singapore section of YA and I am sure your get good answers. You may even be exempt for a visa. Still don't understand why not place this question in a Malaysian or Sinapore section of YA for better results. Also have you ever think about a double touist visa you can get them in Laos.
2 :
Yes - actually you could get better answers by posting these questions in YA S Pore & malaysia because the crux of your question relates to immigration of these countries To answer your question ( as i live in malaysia ) it is dangerous to believe in Visa agents as many scams are abound unless you deal with licenced tour companies . Of course if you are flying then you can go to a licenced tour agent to arrange the flights for you and they will do this . If you are going by road from Hatyai the agents ( dealing with bus tickets ) there can can do pretty much nothing because you are at the mercy of the BORDER immigration . There is a Thai consulate in Penang to make your visa back to Thailand . If you book FLIGHTS in KL back to BKK most licenced tour companies will do the visa for you for a fee at the Thai embassy in Jln Ampang KL . You could try and see if they will JUST make a Visa for you with their runners but they would loath to do this without making profit on flights Getting a visa in Malaysia / Singapore depends alot on whether you take a bus or fly for obvious reasons AND your nationality .
